AI Art??

AI Art - ChatGPT

Let’s talk about the robots.

If you’ve been following our blog or social media posts recently, you may have noticed a few images that look a little… otherworldly. That’s because some of them were generated using AI, with help from our trusty sidekick, ChatGPT.

We want to be transparent about that.

As Lunar Telephone Company continues to grow, we’re exploring a wide range of creative tools - including emerging technologies like generative AI. We’re using it to create playful visual content for blog posts and occasionally just to make ourselves laugh. It’s a part of our R&D - not a replacement for real artistry.

And we want to be very clear about something:

We deeply respect and rely on human creativity. We have built our careers through collaboration with talented designers, technicians, performers, and artists of all kinds. Our goal has never been to cut corners, replace talent, or “automate” art. Quite the opposite. We’re exploring these tools so we can grow. So we can take on more projects. So we can hire more people. So we can carve out new spaces for artists to shine in an industry that’s always evolving.

We believe that technology - when used thoughtfully - can unlock new opportunities for creative professionals. It can help visualize early ideas, spark conversations, and prototype the impossible. And while AI can churn out pixels, it cannot replicate lived experience, emotional intuition, or the spark of collaboration that makes real storytelling so powerful. That’s where the humans come in. That’s where you come in.

So if you see an image on our feed that’s a little quirky or stylized or moon-landing-adjacent, and you wonder, “Was that made by a person or a prompt?” — the answer might be: a little of both. We’re testing, learning, and listening - and we’ll continue to do so with care and curiosity. We’ll do our best to indicate that art was generated with AI within our posts.

Thanks for trusting us to explore, to question, and to try new things. The goal, as always, is to create more meaningful experiences, more exciting opportunities, and a bigger playground for the next generation of creative professionals.

We’re not handing over the keys to the robots. We’re just letting them help carry the gear - so we can build bigger things together.
